"We are really excited about how this schedule will help our team grow and develop over the course of the season," Conroy said. Tulane will host two games in Devlin Fieldhouse and play two more in Puerto Vallarta.
December begins with a trip to North Carolina when Tulane visits Wake Forest on Dec. 4 before returning home to begin another four-game homestand with Jackson State on Dec. 7.
Pac-12 member Washington invades Devlin Fieldhouse on Dec. 17 before the Green Wave host UW-Milwaukee, Northeastern and Alabama State in the Tulane Classic on Dec. 21-22.
The 2013 portion of the schedule concludes with trip to New York City to face Kansas State in the BROOKLYN HOOPS Winter Festival presented by Honda at the state of the art Barclays Center, home of the NBA's Brooklyn Nets, on Dec. 28.
"We are very fortunate to be able to expose our Tulane student-athletes to places like New York City and Mexico and provide them the opportunities to develop and grow individually and as a team," Conroy added. "We will compete against 11 teams that won their conference championship or played in postseason and many of those programs will visit us in Devlin Fieldhouse."
The final non-conference game of the season opens the new year when Hofstra visits New Orleans for a Jan. 2 contest.
The new look Conference USA will feature home games against Louisiana Tech, Rice, Charlotte, Marshall, UTEP, UTSA, Florida Atlantic and Southern Miss. The Green Wave will visit Tulsa, North Texas, East Carolina, Old Dominion, Southern Miss, Middle Tennessee State, UAB and FIU.
"Conference USA has added some strong basketball programs with great tradition and recent success," Conroy added. "I anticipate the league race to be wide -open and as competitive as it has ever been."
