NEW ORLEANS -- Kendall Timmons, a sophomore forward for the Tulane men's basketball team, was named first-team All-Louisiana by the Louisiana Sports Writers Association. Timmons led Tulane (13-17, 3-13 C-USA) in scoring with 17.0 points per game, rebounding with 8.3 per game and steals with 58 total. He also collected 98 assists, the second most on the team, and hit 22 3-point field goals.

The Ft. Worth, Texas, native scored in double figures in 28 of Tulane's 30 games, including 15 of the 16 conference games. He also collected nine doubles doubles, including five in league play.
