Men's Basketball Draws Bradley in Second Round in CIT

NEW ORLEANS - After earning the program's first postseason win since 1996 on Wednesday, the Tulane men's basketball team will travel to Peoria, Ill., to face Bradley in the second round of the Tournament on Saturday at 7 p.m. CT in the Renaissance Center.

Tulane (20-14) defeated South Alabama, 83-74, on Wednesday night in Devlin Fieldhouse, while Bradley (17-16) got past Green Bay, 75-69, at home.

The Braves, a member of the Missouri Valley Conference, finished tied for seventh in the MVC with a 7-11 mark and fell to Drake in the opening round of the MVC Tournament.

This will be the fourth meeting between the two schools and the first since the 1984-85 season. Bradley owns a 2-1 series lead, including a 77-61 win over the Green Wave in the 1982 NIT in Peoria.
