GREENVILLE, N.C. - With just two regular season games to play, the Tulane men's basketball team hits the road for the final time when they visit Williams Arena at Minges Coliseum to take on East Carolina on Wednesday at 6 p.m. CT.

The Green Wave (18-11, 6-8 C-USA) has lost two straight and are coming off a 78-66 loss at Tulsa after holding a 22-point lead early in the second half. The loss dropped Tulane into eighth-place in the Conference USA standings, a game behind the three-way tie for fifth-place.

Green Wave Stumbles to ECU in Regular Season Finale
The streak of winning on senior night didn't continue on Saturday night in Fogelman Arena as the Tulane men's basketball team fell to visiting East Carolina, 66-49, in the regular season finale.

"We have to use our next play mentality and learn from our mistakes at Tulsa and move on," Tulane head coach Ed Conroy said. "We have to focus on these final two games and that starts on Wednesday against East Carolina. They are a very talented team and we have to come ready to play."

ECU (16-11, 7-7 C-USA) is coming off an 88-69 loss at Southern Miss that ended a two-game winning streak by the Pirates. East Carolina is one of the teams - along with Tulsa and UAB - in the three-way tie for fifth-place in the conference.

Josh Davis and Ricky Tarrant lead Tulane into the game. Davis owns the league's top rebounding average at 10.2 per game and adds 17.2 points per game. Tarrant is the conference's top scorer in league games with 18.4 points per outing. The sophomore guard is scoring 16.4 points overall.

Senior Maurice Kemp leads ECU with 18.0 points and 7.7 rebounds per game, while senior Miguel Paul adds 12.8 points and 6.6 assists per game.

This will be the 16th meeting between the two schools. Tulane owns a 9-6 series lead, but East Carolina has won four straight, including a 66-49 victory on March 3, 2012 in New Orleans. The Pirates hold a 4-3 series advantage in games played in Greenville.

Tulane closes out the regular season with Senior Night on Saturday when Houston visits Devlin Fieldhouse for a 7 p.m. CT tip. Seniors Jordan Callahan and Kendall Timmons will be honored prior to the start of the game.
