NEW ORLEANS, La. - This Saturday's Tulane University men's basketball game at TCU will be broadcast live on WWL-TV Channel 4. The game is being televised as part of Conference USA's ESPN+ package, with WWL picking up the feed in the New Orleans area. Game time is 11 a.m.
"It is exciting that WWL will air Saturday's game," Tulane head coach Shawn Finney said. "I think it should be a great game with a lot of up-tempo action by both teams. I'm happy our fans in New Orleans will be able to see the game on local television."
Tulane owns a 10-5 record with a 2-2 Conference USA mark. The Green Wave defeated Southern Miss on the road on Tuesday night, 70-61, with Brandon Brown posting his fifth 20-point game of the year. Brown leads the Wave with 16.3 points and 6.8 rebounds per game.
"I can't say enough about Brandon Brown" Finney said. "He is really developing into a go-to guy for us in the paint. He is playing with a tremendous amount of confidence."
TCU (10-8, 0-4 C-USA) possesses one of the most potent offenses in the nation under legendary head coach Billy Tubbs. Despite dropping four straight games, the Horned Frogs average 89.8 points per game. Tulane comes in averaging 75.9 points per game, while allowing just 71.0 points per outing.
Following Saturday's game, the Wave returns home on Wednesday, Jan. 23, hosting South Florida at Fogelman Arena. Game time is 7 p.m.
