For the third consecutive game, the Green Wave had to dig itself out of a halftime hole after falling behind Texas A&M, 41-33. Tulane cut the deficit to one point with four minutes to go, but could no closer as the Aggies made clutch free throws in the final 30 seconds to seal the six-point win. Morris Jordan tallied a game-high 20 points, his second consecutive 20-point outing, and Wade Mason passed out a career-best six assists.
