Career: His 1,312 career points is the 14th best all-time at Tulane. Also ranked seventh all-time in assists (349), seventh in assist-turnover ratio (1.24), eighth in games played (117), sixth in games started (98) and 12th in minutes played (3,077). Finished his career ranked second all-time at Tulane in three-pointers (165) three-point attempts (499). Also ranked fifth in career free-throw percentage at Tulane (.832) and ninth in three-point percentage (.331). Will graduate in May with a degree in media arts.

As a Senior: Led the Wave with an .819 free-throw percentage (sixth in C-USA) and with 92 assists (3.0 apg), while ranking second in three-point percentage (.380, eighth-best Tulane season). Keyed Tulane's C-USA Tournament victory over Houston with four three-pointers and a team-best 16 points. Scored 16 points with five rebounds and six assists in the loss to Saint Louis (3/1). Notched a game-high 16 points, including three-of-four free throws in the final minute, in the win over South Florida (2/18). Recorded 15 points, including a layup with 57 seconds left to give the Wave a nine-point lead in the TCU game (2/15). Scored 10 points, including a three-point play with 27 seconds to go to give the Wave a 67-65 lead, in the win over UAB (2/8). Led the Wave with 20 points including a career-high six three-pointers (one off the Tulane record) in the victory over East Carolina (2/1). His three-pointer with 1:12 to go gave the Wave a 71-65 lead, essentially icing the victory against UAB (1/25). Collected 15 points, including a perfect 8-of-8 from the line (6-for-6 in final 2:12), in the win over Georgia Tech (1/2). Tallied a season-best nine assists vs. SEMO (12/1). Scored a then-season-high 18 points against Maine (11/28) and had a 17-point effort against UCF (11/29). Became the 25th 1,000-point scorer in school history on Nov. 28 against Maine. Named to the All-Tournament team at the University Hoops Classic.

As a Junior (2001-2002): Led the Green Wave in three-pointers and free-throw percentage and ranked second on the team in scoring (13.4). Led Tulane and was fourth in C-USA in free-throw percentage (.861). His free-throw percentage (.861) ranked fourth in C-USA and was the fifth-best in a season at Tulane while his 46 threes tied for ninth in TU history. Ranked 16th in C-USA in scoring (13.4) and eighth in steals (1.59). Scored 40 points with 12 rebounds in the Wave's two playoff games. His 21 in the win over Saint Louis (3/6), included a perfect 10-of-10 from the line and was his fourth 20-point efort of the year. Notched the 11th 20-point game of his career against Southern Miss (2/2), hitting the game-tying three-pointer at the end of regulation and adding six points in overtime. Scored 18 points (three three-pointers), including the 800th point of his career, against UAB (1/26). Scored just 11 points, but seven came in overtime as he lifted the Wave to victory over TCU (1/19). An amazing performance against Vanderbilt (12/10) in which he narrowly missed a triple-double with 16 points, nine rebounds and nine assists. Notched a team-high 18 points against VCU (11/27). Scored a season-high 22 points, including four three-pointers, against Norfolk State (11/24).

As a Sophomore (2000-2001): Ranked among the top 10 in Conference USA in five categories. Also second in the league in minutes played. Paced the Wave with 18 points and four assists against Houston (3/3). Posted his third double-double of the season with 18 points and a career-high 11 assists (and zero turnovers) against Houston (2/21). Scored 17 points, including the 500th of his career, with five assists against Charlotte (2/14). Recorded a career-high 31 points, including a near-perfect 16-of-17 from the line in the win over Southern Miss (2/7). Sparked Tulane to victory by scoring the first seven points in overtime, 10 in the extra frame, and 18 overall, as the Wave upended South Florida (2/3). Suffered a mild concussion against Cincinnati, which knocked him out of the game and limited him to just 12 minutes. Notched 24 points against UAB (1/7), including 19 first-half points and five three-pointers. Recorded his second double-double with 20 points and 10 assists against Lamar (1/3). Matched his career-high with 26 points against Southern (12/30). Also had career-highs of five three-pointers, five rebounds, and six steals against Southern. Tallied 20 points with eight assists against No. 5 Florida (12/28). Notched his first career double-double with 12 points and a career-high 10 assists in the Loyola win (12/9). Recorded his third straight 20-point effort with an even 20 against Oklahoma (11/25), including a perfect 12-for-12 from the line. Scored a then-career-high 26 points, including 22 of the Wave?s final 33 points in the win over VCU (11/20).

As a Freshman (1999-2000): Tallied 43 of his 84 points this season in his last 11 appearances. Was 2-of-2 from the field, including a trey, to finish with five points vs. Saint Louis (3/10)... Hit two FTs vs. Houston (3/9) in C-USA Tourney win. Scored nine points and added two steals at Memphis (3/1). Scored all seven of his points in a decisive 15-3 run, including two FTs to give the Wave a lead it would not relinquish, vs. Saint Louis (2/19). Came off the bench to score seven points (3-of-4 FGs) in just eight minutes in the win at UAB (2/12). Hit his only FG attempt and added a steal in the win over Memphis (2/9). Scored six points and tallied three steals at DePaul (2/2). Came off the bench to score four points and add a rebound, an assist and a steal in eight minutes vs. UAB (1/23). Was 2-for-2 from the line and grabbed two offensive rebounds at Southern Miss (1/15). Equaled his season-high with three rebounds at Houston (1/8). Made his first career start vs. Howard (12/29) and responded with six points and two assists. Equaled a career high with three rebounds at Lamar (12/11). Grabbed three rebounds vs. Centenary (12/4). Hit his lone three-point attempt to finish with five points and three assists at VCU (11/30). Passed out three assists and scored five points in 17 minutes vs. Nicholls State (11/24). Scored a career-best 10 points on 4-of-7 shooting to go with three assists and three steals against Prairie View (11/21).

Prep: Averaged 21.9 points as a senior for the Blue Jays. Led Jesuit to a 29-5 record under Coach Chris Jennings and was a Class 5A first team all-state selection by the Louisiana Sports Writers Association. The first Jesuit player to earn all-state accolades in 13 years. Tallied a career-high 45 points in an overtime win vs. eventual 5A state champion St. Augustine in February, 1999. The third New Orleans Catholic League alumnus to play at Tulane since 1990, joining Pointer Williams (1991-94) and Wade Mason (1998-2000).

Personal: Born March 10, 1981 in New Orleans, La. Son of Emmanuel and Beverly Spann. Majoring in media arts. Completed his degree requirements with an internship with the sports department of WVUE Fox Channel 8 in New Orleans.
