Baseball Signee Selected to Play on the US Junior National Team

Tulane baseball incoming freshman Michael Aubrey was named to the US Junior National Team Eric Campbell, the USA Baseball Associate Director for National Teams announced on Friday.

Aubrey, a Shreveport, La., native, was one of 41 players selected to compete for a spot on the 18-man roster. The left-handed pitcher joins the Green Wave baseball squad in the Fall of 2000.

Aubrey is not the only Green Wave player representing the US this summer. Junior Jake Gautreau currently leads Team USA in batting average with a .377 and RBI with 12. Gautreau has two home runs, five doubles and a triple to his credit. He is fielding a .981 with only one error at first base.
