College World Series Ticket and Travel Information for Tulane Fans

NEW ORLEANS - Following Tulane's 9-6 victory over Rice Monday in the deciding game of the New Orleans Super Regional which has sent the Green Wave baseball team to the College World Series for the second time in school history, the Green Wave athletic department announced its ticket priority policy for the College World Series.

As one of eight participating teams, Tulane will receive a limited number of tickets for the games it plays in Omaha. On Tuesday, June 14 ONLY from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m., season ticket holders and donors to the Tulane Athletics Fund (TAF) may request tickets by stopping by the Green Wave Athletics Ticket Office in the James Wilson Center or by calling 504-861-WAVE.

Tulane's tickets will be allocated based on the following priority:

1. Tulane baseball season ticket holders who are also current TAF donors at the $500 level and above may request up to four (4) tickets;
2. Tulane baseball season ticket holders who are not current TAF donors at the $500 level may request up to two (2) tickets;
3. Current Tulane Athletics Fund donors at the $500 or above level may request up to two (2) tickets.

Requests to obtain tickets through Tulane for the College World Series are NOT guaranteed, but all individuals who request tickets from the Green Wave will be notified of the status of their request via e-mail or phone by 10 a.m. Wednesday morning, June 15. Additional tickets may be made available by the NCAA on the day of the games in Omaha.

In addition, DMI Travel has put together a travel package to Omaha that includes airfare, hotel rooms and pre- and post-game hospitality. The package does NOT include game tickets. Those travel packages will be available starting Tuesday morning, June 14 at 9 a.m. Call 1-800-479-8222 for more information.

Tulane will play its first game of the 2005 College World Series on Saturday, June 18 at either 1 p.m. or 6 p.m. (Central) versus Oregon State, which won its Super Regional series versus USC on Monday. Both games on Saturday will be televised on ESPN.
