New Orleans - On Thursday, June 12 at 4:00 p.m. (CT), the Tulane Athletics Department will have media availability for newly hired head baseball coach, David Pierce, in the Ed & Pat DeMartini's TAF Hospitality Suite at Greer Field at Turchin Stadium.

Parking is available in the Rosen Lot (enter off Claiborne Ave.) and media representatives may enter the stadium through the main entrance at the front of Greer Field at Turchin Stadium and proceed via the stairs or stadium elevator to level 3. Please arrive early to set up equipment.

Following the media availability, there will be a meet-and-greet with Coach Pierce from 5-7 p.m. (CT) at Bruno's Tavern (7538 Maple St., New Orleans), open to both the media and the general public. Light refreshment and food will be provided, with a cash bar available.

Pierce, who guided Sam Houston State to three consecutive trips to the NCAA Regionals, was named the 23rd head coach of the Tulane Green Wave baseball program on June 8.
