NEW ORLEANS - Tulane first baseman Mickey McKee was drafted by the Houston Astros in the 32nd round of the Major League Baseball draft on Tuesday.
This season McKee, a Houston, Texas native, hit .322 with 10 doubles and 38 RBI. The senior captain started in all 61 games for the Green Wave at first and second base, in the outfield and as the catcher.
In his three-year career at Tulane McKee hit .323 with 96 RBI.
