NEW ORLEANS -- Tickets for the NCAA Baseball Super Regional games between Tulane and LSU at Zephyr Field this weekend have sold out as of 3 p.m. today, Tulane officials announced Tuesday. Green Wave season ticket holders, Tulane Athletic Fund members and other priority groups have reserved all available tickets for 11,000-seat Zephyr Field. LSU received 1,000 tickets and will distribute those through their ticket office in Baton Rouge.
As a result of the sellout, the Tulane Athletics Ticket Office will close at 5 p.m. Tuesday and will remain closed Wednesday in order to process orders and assign seats for the Super Regional. Individuals who have ordered tickets and fit into the priority categories may pick up their tickets at the Ticket Office in the James W. Wilson Center Thursday from 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Fans are encouraged to pick up their tickets prior to game time Friday. Requests for additional tickets above the maximum levels set in the priority plan could not be filled due to the overwhelming demand from the Tulane community. Ticket pick-up will continue at the Athletics Ticket Office until Noon Friday.
First pitch of the first game in the best-of-three series is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Friday. The series will continue with games at 12:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, (if necessary).
For questions, fans can call the Tulane Athletics Ticket Office at 504-861-WAVE.
