CHARLOTTE - Due to inclement weather that moved into the Charlotte area immediately following Tulane baseball's Friday game against Charlotte and continuing well through the night and into the morning, Saturday's matchup between the two programs has been cancelled.

Tulane dropped the series to the 49ers on Friday, falling 2-1 after losing in the series-opener on Thursday, 2-0.

The rainout for the Green Wave marks the second time this season the third game of a series was lost due to weather. On March 30, the third game of the series against Marshall in Charleston, W. Va., was rained out.

Tulane will return to the field on Tuesday, April 22 as the team will travel to Baton Rouge, La., to take on LSU at Alex Box Stadium for a 6:30pm CT first pitch. The game will be broadcast on ESPN3, and can be followed by clicking on the ESPN3 link on the TulaneGreenWave.com baseball schedule page. The game will also be broadcast on the home of Tulane baseball for the 2014 season, 88.3 FM WRBH.
