Tulane (8-4) fell to Southwestern Louisiana (10-5) 1-6 Wednesday evening. This loss halted the Green Wave's win streak at six.
The Green Wave's lone run came in the fourth inning on a Jake Burnham sacrifice fly, which allowed Jason Sparks to score.
USL'a Jeff Robinson hit a two RBI home run in the bottom of the fourth to give the Ragin Cajuns a two run lead which they would not relinquish.
LHP Raul Echeverz (1-2) picked up his second loss of the season .
Sparks led the Wave going 2-for-3 with two doubles, one RBI and one walk.
Tulane plays No. 25 Arizona on Friday evening, 6:30 p.m. This is the first of a three-game series to be played at Turchin Stadium.
