Tulane Baseball Series Cancelled

Feb. 25, 2001

LOS ANGELES, CA -- Despite all efforts, the last two games of Tulane's baseball series with UCLA have been cancelled due to rain. Game one was played on Friday night, with the Bruins pulling out the 8-3 win, but rain on Saturday and Sunday forced the cancellation of the final two games. The Green Wave was able to play three innings of a game on Sunday before the strong, steady rain started, but since a game requires five innings to be official, it will not count.
