NEW ORLEANS, La. - Single-game tickets for the 2008 Tulane University baseball season will go on sale beginning on Friday, Feb. 15, Tulane Director of Ticket Sales Marie Parenti said Thursday.
Tickets range from $15-30 for adults and from $10-30 for youths as the Green Wave prepare for a 36-game home schedule in their first season playing at the new Greer Field at Turchin Stadium. Tickets go on sale at 8:30 a.m. and can be purchased through the Tulane Athletics Ticket Office or any Ticket Master outlet.
Most single-game tickets run $15 for adults and $10 for youths. The opening-weekend series against Illinois-Chicago, however, cost $18 per adult and $15 for youths, while tickets to the LSU game on April 22 go for $30 each.
In addition, Tulane Athletics will honor a "Baseball Season Ticket Holder Exchange Program." Each season ticket holder will have the ability to exchange tickets for games they will not be able to attend for tickets to most other contests throughout the 2008 season.
All exchanged tickets must be exchanged prior to the date of the game being turned in and must be exchanged in advance or day of game at the Tulane Ticket Office. Tickets may not be exchanged for any games during the Illinois-Chicago weekend (Feb. 22-24), UC-Irvine series (March 7-9) or Rice games (May 15-17), games one or three of the WOW Café & Wingery Cup series against cross-town foe UNO (March 4 or May 6), or the LSU contest.
A maximum of 10 tickets may be exchanged per game, and all exchanged tickets will be located in the reserved bleachers.
