NEW ORLEANS, La. - The Tulane University baseball season-opener against Texas-Arlington Friday evening at Turchin Stadium was cancelled due to inclement weather.

The two teams are now scheduled to play two nine-inning games on Saturday beginning at 2 p.m. The Green Wave and Mavericks will close out the weekend series on Sunday with first pitch slated for 1 p.m.

As a special, the Tulane Athletics Ticket Office is offering a $10 ticket package which will get Tulane fans into both of the baseball games as well as the 7 p.m. men's basketball contest against TCU in Fogelman Arena.
