The Green Wave looks to remain undefeated as they host Temple in a three-game series begining Friday, February 9 at 6:30 p.m.. Saturday's begins at 2:00 p.m. and the first pitch on Sunday is 1:00 p.m. This weekend is the first time the these two teams have met on the baseball field. However, Tulane and Temple met in the first-ever Sugar Bowl in 1935. The Green Wave defeated the Owls in a third quarter comeback, 20-14. This is the opening weekend for the Owls. They finished last year with a 24-28-3 record. The probable pitching rotation is Greg Powell on Friday, Jeff Rugg on Saturday and Mike Caron on Sunday. On the mound for Tulane Friday night is Beau Richardson. Saturday's starter is Andrew Corona. On Sunday, the Wave will start either Keith Hennegan or Michael Aubrey.
