NEW ORLEANS - When Tulane's baseball team takes the field against Marshall on Sunday, March 30 in Charleston, W. Va., they'll do so in front a national television audience. Conference USA announced on Thursday that the 9am CT tilt between the Green Wave and the Thundering Herd will be broadcast on Fox Sports 2.
The game between the two teams marks just one of four regular season contests that have been announced by the league offices for national broadcast on FOX Sports Media Group stations.
In addition to the nationally televised game against Marshall, the league announced that Tulane's May 15 tilt against FIU at Greer Field at Turchin Stadium will be broadcast on CST. First pitch will be at 6:30pm CT.
The Conference USA Championship game, which will be on Sunday, May 25 at 1pm CT, will be televised by the CBS Sports Network.
Additional national and regional games remain a possibility and will be announced at a later date.
Those interested in listening to the games on the radio will be able to tune into 88.3 FM WRBH, the home of Tulane baseball for the 2014 season. The Voice of the Green Wave, Todd Graffagnini, will have the call.
Fans can also purchase an All-Access pass at TulaneGreenWave.com for live audio during every game this season, as well as video for all home, non-televised games.
The Green Wave will play two Alumni Games on Feb. 8, pitting some of the program's greatest players against some of the current Tulane players. At 11am CT, players who wore the Olive and Blue prior to 1994 will play against one another. Following that game at 2pm CT, the current roster of Green Wave players will play a roster comprised of players that have played for Tulane since 1994.
The following week, the regular season will open at Greer Field at Turchin Stadium when the Green Wave welcome Arkansas-Pine Bluff for a four-game weekend series, including a Saturday doubleheader.
