NEW ORLEANS, La. - The Green Wave baseball team celebrates its current and former lettermen with two days of events beginning on Friday, January 26th.

On Friday, Bruno's is hosting a welcoming party for the alumni, family and friends of Tulane baseball beginning at 6:00 p.m. Bruno's is located at 7601 Maple Street.

The annual alumni game is set for Saturday, January 27, at Turchin Stadium. The first pitch is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. and admission is free. Alumni slated to play in this weekend's game include Chad Sutter, former player and assistant coach, Jack Cressend, of the Minnesota Twins and Scott Sidwell, Tulane Associate Athletics Director.

All are welcome to attend a gathering at Franky and Johnny's, located at 321 Arabella St., following the game at 6:00 p.m.

Tulane begins its 2001 campaign with a three-game homestand against Sam Houston State on Friday, February 2nd, at 6:30. Saturday's game begins at 2:00 p.m. and first pitch on Sunday is at 1:00 p.m.
