2007 (Freshman): Appeared in 14 games out of the bullpen as a true freshman...ranked second among Tulane relievers in ERA (3.00) and tied for second in opponent batting average (.273) while tallying 11 strikeouts in 18.0 innings of work...did not factor into any decisions in 2007, but did pitch in seven victories...tallied a pair of multiple-strikeout games with two punches at Southeastern Louisiana (2/10) and vs. UNC-Asheville (3/7)...held opponents without a hit twice and did not allow an earned run on 10 occasions...longest outing of the year came at SLU when he scattered two singles and a walk in 3.1 innings of work...allowed just two extra base hits for the year while posting a 1.57 strikeout-to-walk ratio and a 5.50 strikeout-per-nine-inning average.
