Women’s Cross Country/Track & Field led the way with 34 honorees

2015 (Sophomore): Appeared in two games, both in relief…went 0-0 with a 0.00 Era in 1.1 innings…allowed no hits, no runs, no earned runs and struck out none while walking three…held opponents to a .000 batting average…tossed 1.0 inning against UConn (3/27), walking three…pitched a third of an inning against Houston (5/3).

2014 (Freshman): Appeared in nine games all in relief...did not record a decision while posting an ERA of 6.52 over 9.2 innings...allowed 16 hits and 11 runs - seven earned - while walking nine and striking out 13...made his collegiate debut by pitching 1.0 inning and striking out one in a combined shutout against Arkansas-Pine Bluff (2/14) on opening day...totaled 1.0 inning of work versus Arkansas (3/8) and against Louisiana-Lafayette (3/12)...fanned two during the second game of a doubleheader at East Carolina (3/15) in one inning of work...notched three strikeouts in one inning at New Orleans (3/19)...fanned five across a career-high 2.2 innings against Rice (4/13)...totaled an inning each against Wichita State (4/27) and against FIU (5/15). Earned Conference USA Commissioner's Honor Roll honors.

Prep: A three-year letterwinner at Brother Martin High School in New Orleans...pitched for the Crusaders...helped lead his team to a 30-6 record, and a District 9-5A Championship, during his senior season...went to the state quarterfinals in his senior year after the school's first ever undefeated district season...was 8-1 with 77 strikeouts and a 1.77 ERA in 55.1 innings of service during his senior campaign...earned the All-District Most Valuable Pitcher of the Year honors during his senior year, while also being named to the Clarion Herald Elite Baseball Team...was a 5A All-State Honorable Mention team member...played Legion ball with Peake BMW during the summer.

Personal: Born Tyler Patrick Zamjahn on January 10, 1995...son of Jennifer and John Zamjahn...has two younger sisters, Ashley and Rachel and one younger brother, Blake...plans to major in either chemical engineering or math at Tulane.
