U.S. Naval Academy (2010): Appeared in 15 games on the mound for the Midshipmen...struck out one in two scoreless innings to claim his first collegiate win in his first collegiate appearance against Air Force (2/28)...allowed four runs - two earned - in three innings of work against Central Connecticut State (3/6) to grab his first career save...tossed four scoreless innings, allowing two hits, with two strikeouts to earn the save against Iona (3/16)...grabbed the win with three innings of one-hit baseball and four strikeouts against Princeton (3/20)...allowed one run in an innings of work at Maryland (3/31)...threw two and one-thirds innings in two appearances versus Lehigh (4/3 & 4/4)...collected a save against George Washington (4/6) with one and two-thirds scoreless innings...allowed two unearned runs in an innings of work against Army (4/10)...retired the only two batters he faced at Maryland Eastern Shore (4/14) with one strikeout...tossed three and two-thirds innings, allowing one unearned run, with two strikeouts in the second game of a doubleheader at Bucknell (4/18)...made his first career start versus Holy Cross and threw three and one-thirds innings, allowing seven runs - six earned - with one strikeout...won his second start of the season at Delaware State (5/5) as he allowed three runs - one earned - on five hits in six innings of work.

Blair while at Newman Smith High School...was selected as team captain and team MVP during his junior and senior seasons...was a First Team All-District 10-5A and All-City during his junior and senior seasons...earned Academic All-State honors as a senior...guided the Trojans to the Bi-District title and a 22-7 record during his senior season...also lettered once in football.
Personal: Born Tyler Younger Mapes on July 18, 1991...the son of Todd Mapes and Kimberly Castanon...has three sisters, Chloe, Lauren and Sophia
