NCAA New Orleans Regional: Started all three games at shortstop...hit .267 (4-for-15) with three RBI and a sacrifice fly...played perfect defense with four putouts and nine assists while helping the Green Wave turn a double play...posted two-hit performances in the opener vs. Southern and in the championship game against Alabama...drove in three in Tulane's 17-7 win over Southern.
NCAA New Orleans Super Regional: Started all three games at shortstop...it .400 (6-for-15) with two doubles and two RBI and posted a .417 on-base percentage with a walk...had two hits in all three games...posted seven putouts, five assists and one error defensively.
2004: Only player on team to start all 62 games at the same position, lining up at shortstop every day as a junior...earned second-team All-Louisiana honors after leading the team in assists (185) and sacrifice bunts (school-record 12) while ranking second in steals (11), tied for fifth in doubles (14) and sixth in batting average (.311) and RBI (tied with 36) and total bases (102)...finished second in Conference USA in sacrifice bunts, third in assists and 12th in steals...named to NCAA Oxford Regional All-Tournament Team after hitting .417 (5-for-12) with three RBI and two sacrifice bunts, and posted nine putouts and nine assists while helping turn three double plays defensively...had a pair of multiple-hit games during the regional, including a 3-for-4 showing vs. Western Kentucky (6/5)...for the year, posted 20 multiple-hit games, including eight three-hit outings, and 11 multiple-RBI games, including a trio of three-RBI contests...had a six-game hitting streak from Feb. 20-29 when he hit .435 (10-for-23) with two doubles and three RBI, and another six-gamer from May 7-16 when he tallied a .435 batting average (10-for-23) with three doubles, two home runs and eight RBI...earned C-USA and Louisiana Sports Writers Association Player of the Week honors on April 26 after hitting .611 (11-for-18) with a double, a home run and seven RBI during a midweek win over Louisiana-Lafayette (4/21) and a three-game sweep of league foe Southern Miss...off the diamond, was a member of the C-USA Commissioner's List, Tulane's 3.0 Club and the Dean's List.
2003: Started all 59 games he played at second base as a junior...earned honorable-mention All-Louisiana honors after tying for the team lead in doubles (20) while ranking tied for second in RBI (44), finishing third in batting average (.343) and slugging percentage (.513), fourth in hits (81), runs (50) and total bases (121), and fifth in home runs (6) and on-base percentage (.382)...missed four games with back spasms but came back strong to rank second on the team in assists (148) and fourth in putouts (111) while helping Tulane turn 44 double plays...tied for second in C-USA in doubles, was fifth in turning double plays, tied for ninth in hits and assists, and 12th in total bases...named to the C-USA All-Tournament Team after hitting .615 (8-for-13) with an RBI, a walk and a stolen base...had 28 multiple-hit games, including nine three-hit games and a season-best 4-for-4 showing with a pair of doubles against Pepperdine (2/23)...also totaled 10 multiple-RBI contests, including a pair of three-RBI games and three four-RBI outings...had a 10-game hitting streak from Feb. 16-March 11 when he hit .579 (22-for-38) with seven doubles, two homers and 13 RBI...belted his first career grand slam in the first inning against Louisville (5/10) and set a personal best with two home runs at Saint Louis (4/26)...away from the field, earned C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll recognition.
2002: Played in 55 games as a true freshman, including 45 starts at shortstop and six at second base...led the team with 135 assists while finishing fifth in batting average (.294), and sixth in total bases (74), slugging percentage (.411) and on-base percentage (.339)...earned Conference USA All-Tournament honors after hitting .615 (8-for-13) with a double and five RBI...had 14 multiple-hit games, including a 4-for-4 showing in the C-USA Tournament vs. Southern Miss (5/21), and six multiple-RBI contests, including three-RBI outings vs. Saint Louis in the C-USA Tournament (5/22) and against Southern in the NCAA Baton Rouge Regional (6/1)...had hitting streaks of six and seven games before ending the year on a 10-game streak when he hit .428 (15-for-35) with a double, three home runs and 11 RBI...hit first career home run against Southern Miss (5/18) in his final at-bat of the regular season, and followed that up with two more homers in the NCAA Baton Rouge Regional...off the diamond, earned C-USA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll recognition.
Summer Ball: Played for the Waynesboro Generals of the Valley League in 2002 and the Brewster White Caps of the Cape Cod League in 2003...in 2002, earned All-Valley League honors as a shortstop and was selected to play in the All-Star game after leading the Generals with nine stolen bases, and finished second on the club in batting average (.313) and doubles (5)...in 2003, led the White Caps in assists while providing three doubles, a triple, six RBI and four stolen bases offensively.
High School: Three-year starting shortstop at Archbishop Hannan High for coach Doug Faust...earned All-District 8-4A, All-St. Bernard Parish and academic all-state honors all three seasons...helped team go 75-20 during his prep career with three district championships...as a senior, hit .360 with three home runs and 24 RBI...went 3-for-4 with five RBI and a game-winning grand slam vs. district foe St. Paul in 2001...selected to play in the LHSAA All-Star game and earned St. Bernard Parish Most Outstanding Player recognition as a senior...off the diamond, graduated with the highest GPA in math and earned the Outstanding Leadership award.
