2013 (Freshman): Appeared in 45 games with 35 starts (nine in right field, nine at third base, eight at second base, five at designated hitter and four in left field)...batted .227 with 12 runs, 29 hits, eight doubles, 12 RBI and 11 walks...became the first true freshman to start opening day in the infield since 2010...got the nod at second base during the opening game of the season versus Sam Houston State (2/15), drawing a walk...collected his first career hit at Texas State (2/16)...posted doubles in back-to-back games versus Missouri State (2/17) and against Southeastern Louisiana (2/19)...notched his first career multi-hit game at Nicholls (2/26), going 2-for-4...walked twice, and scored once while collecting an RBI against New Orleans (2/27)...had back-to-back 2-for-4 contests at Alabama (3/2 and 3/3)...notched a career-high three hits, including two doubles, as well as three RBI and two runs in a 3-for-7 day at the dish during the third game of the series against High Point (3/10)...scored runs at Southeastern Louisiana (3/12), against Southeastern Louisiana (3/13) and against Memphis (3/22)...had a single and an RBI at Rice (3/29)...pinch-hit at Louisiana-Lafayette (4/9), notching an RBI-single...recorded an RBI single at Louisiana-Monroe (4/16)...posted a double against Nicholls (5/7)...doubled and scored a run as a pinch-hitter against UAB (5/16)...went 3-for-5 with two runs, an RBI and a double versus Southern Miss (5/22) during the opening game of the Conference USA Championship...had an RBI-single versus Houston (5/25) during the season finale at the Conference USA Championship.
