High School: Three-year letterman at John Curtis where he saw time at first base and in the outfield for coach Johnny Curtis...helped the Patriots finish as state semi-finalists as a junior and as State 4A Champions as a sophomore and senior...earned all-district, all-metro and all-East Jefferson Parish honors in his final two seasons...as a senior, hit .500 en route to earning LSWA first-team all-state honors...also lettered three times in football where he helped John Curtis win state titles as a sophomore and senior...helped the United States team win the gold medal at the 2002 Global Junior Football Championships...off the diamond, was a member of the National Honor Society and the Christian Youth Organization.
