2007: An All-Conference USA Second Team member as a pitcher...made 17 appearances on the mound, including 16 starts, while also playing in 14 games with seven starts in the field...went 8-4 with a 4.11 ERA, tying for the team lead in wins while leading the team in innings pitching with 103.0...led the squad with 122 strikeouts while also walking 49 and allowing 89 hits...of the qualified starters, was second on the team in batting average allowed (.233)...13 starts went over 6.0 innings, including a 9.0 inning, 14 strikeout performance against Loyola Marymount (3/9)...posted 11 strikeouts against North Florida (2/16) and 10 against East Carolina (3/30)...fanned 14 over 8.0 innings against Siena (3/26)...also hit .214 in 28 at bats with a double and a home run while making one start in left field and six at designated hitter...posted a double and four RBI against North Florida (2/17)...hit his lone home run of the season against UNC-Ashville (3/7).

2005: Utility athlete played appeared in 29 games on the mound and four as a position player as a true freshman...all pitching performances came in relief and started four games as the designated hitter...earned Conference USA All-Freshman Team honors after ranking second on the team in saves (five) and appearances (26), and fifth in wins (six)...paced the Green Wave bullpen with a in ERA (2.72), strikeouts (42) and opponent batting average (.250), while ranking second in innings pitched (36.1)...posted a 10.4 strikeout-per-nine average...finished tied for fifth in C-USA in games finished (23), ninth in games in relief, and tied for ninth in saves and appearances...had 11 multiple-strikeout games, including a career-best four at USF (4/24) when he tossed a season-long 3.2 frames...did not allow an earned run in 21 games and no hits on six occasions...opened the ear with 12.0 scoreless innings...as a position hitter, posted a two-hit showing vs. East Carolina, and had a two RBI and a double vs. Marist (3/5).

Summer Ball: Played for the Falmouth Commodores of the Cape Cod Baseball League in 2005 and 2006...in 2005, used primarily on the mound where he went 1-2 with three saves, a 3.71 ERA and 22 strikeouts in 17.0 innings...also posted a pair of hits and three walks in limited time offensively...in 2006, pitched in nine games - including two starts - when he tied for the team lead in wins (three) to go with 16 strikeouts in 17.2 innings of work.

High School: Three-year letterman at Clements High for coach Herb Espinosa...rated No. 14 prospect out of the state of Texas going into the 2004 MLB draft and rated a Top 50 Prospect by Collegiate Baseball, was selected in the 25th round by the Milwaukee Brewers...named District 20-5A MVP all three years, and earned first-team all-state, All-Greater Houston and all-district honors his final two seasons as a prepster...helped the Rangers finish as Region 3 semifinalists as a sophomore and junior, and win the district title as a senior...from the mound, went 29-4 for his career and showed good power at the plate with 25 home runs...as a senior, hit .400 with 11 home runs and 45 RBI while going 13-0 from the mound with a 0.57 ERA and 112 strikeouts...as a junior, went 11-1 with a 1.88 ERA and 94 strikeouts from the mound while hitting .430 with nine homers and 46 RBI at the plate...went 5-3 as a sophomore, and belted five homers...named Outstanding Pitcher at the 2003 WWBA World Showcase...off the diamond, was member of Texas Scholars.
