In her 10th year with the Green Wave program, Sherry Schonekas is involved in all non-coaching aspects of Tulane baseball.

Entering her sixth season as the Director of Baseball Operations, Schonekas is responsible for coordinating all travel accommodations. In addition, Schonekas coordinates community service projects, assists with recruiting, handles registration for all Tulane baseball camps, manages all correspondence for the baseball office and provides editorial assistance for the annual media guide.

A graduate of nearby Mount Carmel Academy where she lettered in softball and volleyball, Schonekas joined the Tulane baseball staff in 1995. During her first three years at Tulane, Schonekas juggled her baseball duties with schoolwork as she also attended the University of New Orleans where she earned her bachelor's degree in marketing in 1998.

When not busy with Tulane baseball, the Big Easy native is cheering on her favorite professional team, the New Orleans Saints.
