2011 (Junior): Appeared in 17 games, with one start on the mound...tied for second on the team in saves (1) and pitching victories (3)...collected wins against Wichita State (3/13), Alcorn State (3/16) and at Rice (4/16)...posted a save against Southeastern Louisiana (4/19)...posted three consecutive scoreless outings from February 26-March 16...tossed a scoreless inning against George Washington (2/26)...struck out one in a scoreless inning versus Wichita State (3/13) to collect his first collegiate victory...threw five scoreless innings in his first career start against Alcorn State (3/16) with two strikeouts...struck out one and allowed an unearned run in one and two-thirds innings of relief work against FIU (3/30)...surrendered two unearned runs in two innings versus Houston (4/3)...tossed a perfect three and one-thirds innings to pick up the win at Rice (4/16)...allowed one run in one and one-thirds innings of work versus Southeastern Louisiana (4/19)...struck out one in a scoreless inning versus UAB (4/29)...allowed one run on two hits in two innings of work at LSU (5/3)...allowed two runs - one earned - in two and one-thirds innings of work against East Carolina (5/20) with two strikeouts...retired the only two batters he faced against East Carolina (5/26) at the Conference USA Tournament.
2010 (Sophomore): Appeared in three games, all out of the bullpen...one of his three appearances were scoreless...threw two scoreless innings in a relief appearances at New Orleans (3/9) allowing no hits and walking one batter...allowed one run on two hits in an inning of work versus Towson (3/14)...surrendered three runs versus Southern Miss (4/30) in his final appearance of the season.
2009 (Freshman): Appeared in seven games, with nine innings pitched...posted an 0-1 record with a 2.00 earned run average...recorded seven strikeouts against zero walks...made five straight appearances before allowing his first run of the season...also a member of the Tulane football team as a quarterback, Ponder's seven appearances came in February and March before the start of football spring ball.
