2008 (Freshman): Appeared in 23 games out of the bullpen as a true freshman...earned Conference USA All-Freshman Team honors after posting 4-1 record, a 3.60 ERA and a .271 opponent batting average in 35.0 innings of work...earned victories against Southeastern Louisiana (0.2 IP, 0 H, 0 ER on Feb. 26), Northwestern State (2.0 IP, 2 H, 0 ER, 1 K on March 11), at East Carolina (3.1 IP, 3 H, 0 ER, 2 K on May 10), and against Florida in game one of the NCAA Regionals (2.2 IP, 1 H, 0 ER, 2 K on May 30)...held opponents without a hit seven times and without an earned run on 17 occasions...posted eight multiple-strikeout performances, including a career-high four punches in a season-long 5.1 innings against UC Irvine...added three strikeouts in a scoreless inning at Memphis (April 25) and two Ks vs. TCU, at Nicholls State, at East Carolina and vs. Rice...played a vital role in 14 of Tulane's 36 wins in 2008.
