Meet Warren McFadden

2007: Played in 58 games as a sophomore, including 44 starts in right field and 13 as the designated hitter...paced the team in doubles (14) while ranking second in slugging percentage (.424), tied for second in home runs (four), third in total bases (86), tied for third in RBI (34), stolen bases (seven) and walks (30), fourth in hits (60), and fifth in batting average (.296) and runs scored (34)...hampered by a bad ankle in the latter portion of the year, missing the final two games of the year with the injury...tied for the team lead with nine multiple-RBI contests, including three RBI vs. Southeastern Louisiana (2/9), at Southern Miss (4/13) and vs. Chicago State (5/19)...finished fourth on the team with 17 multiple-hit games, including a season-high four hits vs. LSU (4/2)...had a nine-game hitting streak from March 30-April 13 when he hit .541 (20-for-37) with seven doubles and eight RBI.

2006: Played in all 64 games as a redshirt-freshman, including 60 starts in right field and three in left...tabbed Baseball America, Louisville Slugger and Rivals.com Freshman All-American and the Conference USA and Louisiana Freshman of the Year...claimed first-team All C-USA and All-Louisiana honors and earned a spot on the C-USA All-Freshman Team after leading the team in batting average (.382), hits (91) and doubles (24)...finished second on the club in RBI (50) and on-base percentage (.457), third in runs (53), total bases (122) and slugging percentage (.513) and fourth in stolen bases (tied with six)...ranked second in C-USA in batting average and doubles, fourth in on-base percentage and fifth in hits...paced team with 32 multiple-hit games, including a 4-for-5 game against Southern Miss (5/13)..tied for fourth on the club with 10 multiple-RBI games, including four against Jackson State (3/28) and Stephen F. Summer Ball: Played for the Falmouth Commodores of the Cape Cod Baseball League in 2005 in 2006...in 2005 started 17 of the 27 games he played in, hitting .232 (23-for-99) with three doubles, a home run, 12 RBI and a stolen base...rated the No. 25 prospect in the CCBL by Baseball America in 2006 after leading Falmouth in home runs (eight), total bases (70), slugging percentage (.440), runs (29), triples (two) and walks (23), while ranking second in RBI (21) and hits (tied with 38)...hit .239 for the season and was named an All-Star at the summer's midpoint.

High School: Four-year letterman at Nova High for coach Pat McQuaid...earned first-team All-America honors from Baseball America as a senior and was named Louisville Slugger All-American his final two prep seasons...a three-time all-state and All-Broward County selection, tallied 19 home runs, 107 RBI, 87 stolen bases and 90 runs scored over his final three years, including a .571 batting average, 11 homers, 52 RBI and 22 steals as a senior...named County Player of the Year and earned Sun-Sentinel Class 6A-5A-4A Player of the Year as a junior and senior...also named Miami Herald Scholar Athlete of the Year and voted Player of the Year by the Broward County Umpires Association in 2004...as a junior, was selected to play in The AFLAC All-American game after hitting.519 with two home runs, 28 RBI and 30 stolen bases...connected at a .406 clip with six bombs, 27 RBI and 35 thefts as a sophomore...helped guide the Titans to three consecutive district championships, and guided Nova High to its first state championship as a senior...member of Team Nike in the Area Code Games, and ranked as the No. 5 prospect in the country following the event...off the diamond, was a member of National Honor Society and was named Who's Who Among American High School Students.
