2003: Appeared in nine games as a true freshman, all in relief...pitched at least 1.0 inning in seven of his trips to the mound, including a career-best 5.0-inning showing at TCU (3/16) when he struck out a season-high four batters while walking none and giving up just four hits in shutout relief...showed good control throughout the season, walking just two and with no hit batsmen while fanning nine...away from the field, earned C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll recognition.
