2003: Appeared in 24 games as a true freshman, all in relief...ranked second on the team in appearances, and had a 3-1 record out of the bullpen to go with a 6.12 ERA in 32.1 innings of work...earned victories in back-to-back outings, tossing 3.0 innings against Pepperdine (2/22), giving up two earned runs on three hits while walking three and striking out five...tossed 2.2 scoreless innings of relief against Southeastern Louisiana (2/25) when he gave up just one hit and no walks while striking out a career-high five batters...tallied six multiple-strikeout games, including a career-best five, twice...held opponents hitless on eight occasions and kept them off the scoreboard 13 times...tossed a career-long 3.0 innings against Pepperdine (2/22) and again vs. Louisiana-Lafayette (3/5)...away from the field, earned C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll recognition.
