Mike Hill

Mike Hill is in his 26th year on the Tulane staff and his 17th on the equipment staff. Hill joined the Green Wave family in 1979 as an assistant trainer and equipment manager until assuming his current position in 1988.

A native of Asheboro, N.C., Hill is a member of the Athletic Equipment Managers Association and is a national program chairman. He is a 1995 recipient of the Glenn Sharp Award as the Equipment Manager of the Year, and last year, was inducted to the Glenn Sharp Equipment Manager Wall, won the National Service Award, and was a Scholarship Dedication recipient.

Hill graduated from Gardner Webb in 1979 with a degree in physical education. He is married to the former Cherie Campbell and they have two children; Nicholas (15) and Heather (13).
