Personal: Born Emerson Robert Gibbs on June 25, 1994...the son of Lawrence and Marian Gibbs...has one brother; Brian, and five sisters; Prudence, Gillian, Hillary, Lauren and Melissa...brother, Brian, played for the Green Wave from 1991-94 and was named to the Metro Conference All-Tournament team as he helped guide the Green Wave to the 1994 South Regional...Brian graduated from Tulane in 1994...sister, Melissa, has received two degrees from Tulane.
