Prep: Lettered three seasons for head coach Bobby Williams at Brazoswood High School...was selected as team captain during his senior season...earned First Team All-District 24-5A as a junior and was named Second Team All-District 24-5A as a senior...earned First Team All-City honors as a sophomore, junior and senior...helped the Buccaneers to the Texas State Final Four twice, finishing third as a sophomore and fourth as a senior...led the team in home runs during his junior season...also lettered once in basketball and was selected as team captain...played summer baseball for the Columbia Angels.
