2010 (Sophomore): Appeared in three games, all out of the bullpen...one of his three appearances were scoreless...threw two scoreless innings in a relief appearances at New Orleans (3/9) allowing no hits and walking one batter...allowed one run on two hits in an inning of work versus Towson (3/14)...surrendered three runs versus Southern Miss (4/30) in his final appearance of the season.
2009 (Freshman): Appeared in seven games, with nine innings pitched...posted an 0-1 record with a 2.00 earned run average...recorded seven strikeouts against zero walks...made five straight appearances before allowing his first run of the season...also a member of the Tulane football team as a quarterback, Ponder's seven appearances came in February and March before the start of football spring ball.
