2009 (Sophomore): Posted an 8-3 record in 14 appearances, all starts...tossed 87 innings with a 3.93 earned run average...his ERA led all qualified Tulane starters...second on the team with 58 strikeouts...walked just seven batters in 87 innings, less than one per nine innings...led Tulane with a 8.29 strikeout to walk ratio...opened the season with a seven-inning, five-hit victory over LeMoyne (Feb. 20)...tossed a complete game shutout of Northern Colorado (March 20) allowing three hits and no walks, striking out four in a 4-0 victory...allowed one run in eight innings in a win over Houston (March 27)...struck out a season-high eight batters in a victory over No. 17 East Carolina (April 19), tossing seven and a third while allowing three earned runs and seven hits...tossed a complete-game against UAB (May 10), fanning six batters and allowing six hits and one run in a 3-1 Tulane victory...earned a victory in the opener of the Conference USA tournament over UCF (May 21) with six and two thirds innings pitched, and one earned run allowed in an 8-3 win.

2008 (Grayson County College): Played one season at Grayson County College for coach Dusty Hart in Sherman, Texas...led the Vikings to a National Junior College Championship...earned the Outstanding Pitcher Award in the 2008 JuCo World Series while also being selected to the All-Conference team.
