2009: Appeared in 30 games with 16 starts at first base or designated hitter as a true freshman... hit .229 on the season (16-for-70) with four home runs an a pair of doubles... slugged .429 on the season... drove in a career-high five runs with four hits and four runs in six at bats with three home runs against UCF (April 11)... tallied his first hit against Wright State (Feb. 28) in a one-for-four effort... scored two runs and drove in two more with his first career home run in the second game of a doubleheader against Wright State (Feb. 28)... drove in two runs against Nicholls State (March 24) with a double and a run scored.

SUMMER 2009: Rated the number six prospect in the Clark-Griffith League after hitting .311 for the Vienna Senators, leading the team with nine home runs and eight doubles in 37 games. The sophomore slugged .580 and posted 14 walks for a .377 on-base percentage.

High School: Four-year letterman at Mandeville High School for coach Matthew Brown...was a four-time all-district selection in addition ot earning all-state honors during his senior year...selected as a third-team all-American during his final campaign for the Skippers, a season that included a trip to the state tournament..earned all-district and all-St. Tammany Parish honors the last two seasons while ranking 148th nationally and as the No. 2 prospect in the state by .405 as a junior in 2007, with eight home runs and 36 RBI en route to earning all-Metro recognition... was selected by USA Baseball to participate in the Tournament of Stars in Cary, N.C...was also chosen as a 2008 Under Armour Preseason all-American.
