2007: Played in 56 games as a sophomore, including 33 starts in centerfield, 10 as the designated hitter, eight in right and one in left...lead the team in home runs (six), triples (four) and slugging percentage (.451), while ranking tied for third in stolen bases (seven), fourth in total bases (82) and runs scored (35), and tied for fourth in RBI (28)...hit .269 (49-for-182) for the year and raised that to .306 (22-for-72) in Conference USA play, which ranked second on the team for league-only games...ranked tied for fourth in C-USA in triples...had 12 multiple-hit games, including a career-best three hits vs. Loyola Marymount (3/10), East Carolina (3/31) and UAB (5/4)...also posted four multiple-RBI contests, including three RBI vs. Southeastern Louisiana (2/9) and UAB (5/4)...had a six-game hitting streak from March 27-April 7 when he hit .417 (10-for-24) with three doubles, a triple and three RBI, and again from April 21-29 when he hit .320 (8-for-25) with a home run and three RBI...off the diamond, was named to the C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll.

2006: Played in 24 games as a true freshman, including seven starts as the designated hitter, three in right field and one in left...missed time with a broken bone in his hand after getting hit by a pitch against Penn State (2/18)...hit home runs against McNeese State (2/14) and at Memphis (3/25)...posted lone multiple-hit outing of the year at Memphis (3/25) and had a pair of two-RBI outings: Memphis (3/25) and McNeese State (2/14)...posted hits in back-to-back starts at Memphis (3/25-26) when he hit .300 (3-for-10) with a home run, two RBI, two runs scored and a stolen base...played flawless defense with six putouts from the corner outfield.

Summer Ball: Played for the Falmouth Commodores of the Cape Cod Baseball League in 2006 and 2007...in 2006, tied for third on the team in home runs (three) and ranked fourth in walks (12) while hitting .216 (25-for-116) with four doubles and nine RBI...in 2007, selected to play in the CCBL All-Star Game after finishing tied for second in the CCBL in stolen bases (15)...ranked second on the team batting average (.277), hits (51), walks (21) and on-base percentage (.386) to go along with four doubles, two home runs and 11 RBI.

High School: Four-year letterman as a first baseman and outfielder at Stratford High for coach Tony Mardirosian...earned all-state honors as a junior and senior, claimed All-Houston recognition his final three prep seasons, and was a four-time member of the All-District 18-5A team...drafted in the 14th round by the Philadelphia Phillies following a senior season when he hit .531 with a 1.148 slugging percentage on the strength of 12 doubles, a triple and 12 home runs while driving in 41 and stealing 11 bases...as a junior, hit .462 with seven home runs and 27 RBI and was selected to play in the Area Code Games and the Texas Scout Association Showcase...also lettered once in basketball...off the diamond, was a member of the National Honor Society and the Honor Roll.
