2005: Redshirted his first season in the Green Wave program...off the diamond, was a member of the Conference USA Commissioner's Honor Roll and Tulane's 3.0 Club.
Prior To Tulane: Appeared in 11 games, including five starts, as a true freshman at UMass...finished third on the team in opponent batting average (.265), tied for fourth in innings pitched (37.0), fifth in ERA (5.35) and tied for fifth in appearances (11)...posted a complete-game (7.0 innings) vs. UConn (4/14), scattering six singles while posting a strikeout...did not give up an earned run in four outings, and held opponents hitless in three relief appearances...had four multiple-strikeout performances, including a career-best five in back-to-back starts vs. Miami (3/20) and Sacred Heart (3/30)...left the game with the lead four times and tallied a save vs. Holy Cross (4/6) after striking out the only batter he faced in a bases-loaded pinch to clinch an 8-5 win.
Summer Ball: Played for the Rock Hill Sox of the Southern Collegiate Baseball League in 2005 and for the Waimea Waves of the Hawaii Collegiate Baseball League in 2006...with the Sox, led team in appearances (11) and innings pitched (39.0), while finishing tied for the lead in wins (four), second in strikeouts (33) and posting a 2.31 ERA...earned a spot in the 2006 HCBL All-Star Game after going 6-1 with a 1.89 for the Waves.
High School: Four-year letterman at Country Day for coach Stephen Victory...named all-state and all-district while claiming Pitcher of the Year honors from the Louisiana High School Coaches Association as a senior when he went 6-2 with a 0.64 ERA...that year, he won all five playoff games to lead Country Day to the 1A state championship, and hit .592 with 43 RBI...at the plate, set Crawfish career records with a .487 batting average, 156 hits and 162 runs...from the mound, set school marks with six playoff wins, and is second in the school record books with 27 victories, 362 strikeouts, 24 complete games, 238.0 innings pitched and a 1.44 ERA...received Country Day Tri-Athlete Award after lettering in baseball, soccer and swimming as a senior, and was selected NOKIA Sugar Bowl Amateur Athlete of the Month in May 2003...Babe Ruth team won the World Series in 2000.
