I chose Tulane because... the city and the baseball program are outstanding. Also, Tulane is a great academic school.

The best part about playing baseball at Tulane is... playing with a great group of guys and having the chance to do something special each year.

My goals for this season are... hit more batting practice home runs than Karl and, of course, Omaha.

Do you have any pregame rituals/superstitions? Left Sock inside out. Tape my left wrist. Wearing a batting glove on only my right hand. I have no logical explanation for any of these things.

What is your favorite thing to do outside of baseball? Catch monster fish.

What is your favorite food? Favorite Game Day Meal? My favorite food is fresh caught Alaskan salmon. On game day, the shrimp etoufee on top of the fish is excellent.

If you could play for any MLB team, who would it be? The Tampa Bay Rays. I was born a block from the stadium and they have a tank full of Cow Nosed Rays in right center field.

Who was your idol growing up? Scooby Doo. When I laugh really hard, I sound eerily similar to him.

What was your greatest memory from last season? Brennan Middleton's face on ESPN when Nick Boullosa made the greatest catch I've ever seen versus LSU.

If you were not playing baseball, what would you be doing?I would go fishing every day and get a job as a deckhand on a charter boat.

What music do you like to listen to before a game? Jammin' by Bob Marley.

What is your hidden talent? Ping Pong, except against Coach Goat.

What is your favorite type of animal? Why? Ring Tailed Lemur. Kyle's wallaby and my lemur are going to be pals.

Why did the chicken cross the road? To escape from Colonel Sanders.

What is your favorite thing about New Orleans? Being with all of my friends, and the fact that it is by far one of the best places on the planet for food, you could go somewhere different every day if you had the urge to.

If you were going to be stranded on an island and could have 3 things with you, what 3 items would you take with you? My Bear Grylls Tactical Knife, a Fishing Pole and my hammer.

What's something no one knows about you? I make some mean chocolate chip pancakes.

Vanilla or Chocolate? Chocolate/Vanilla Swirl.

What is the best road stadium/atmosphere that you have been in? East Carolina. Their fans were hilarious and it was our first series win in conference last season.

One word that describes you as a person.... Chillaxin'
