I chose Tulane because... I chose Tulane because of the strong academic reputation mixed with a strong baseball program.
The best part about playing baseball at Tulane is... being able to play the game at the highest level while getting a top-notch education at the same time.
My goals for this season are... to help the team win anyway I can, and to win the College World Series.
Do you have any pregame rituals/superstitions? No, I tend to just go with the flow.
What is your favorite thing to do outside of baseball? I enjoy fishing and golfing. I also like making beats and producing music for my friends.
What is your favorite food? Favorite Game Day Meal? My grandpa is Italian and he makes some of the best sausage and peppers I've ever had. My favorite game day meal would have to be chicken and pasta.
If you could play for any MLB team, who would it be? Without a doubt the Boston Red Sox. They have been my favorite team forever.
Who was your idol growing up? My idols growing up were, and still are, my mom and dad. They have always been really supportive of anything I have chosen to do.
What was your greatest memory from last season? The greatest memory I have from last season was the walk off win against Rice. My roommate had the game winning hit and we hadn't beaten Rice in a few years.
If you were not playing baseball, what would you be doing? If I wasn't playing baseball I would probably be playing football. I played in high school and really enjoyed it.
What music do you like to listen to before a game? I listen to a bunch of different music. It all depends on what type of mood I'm in. It ranges from country to rap. Eric Church to Eminem.
What is your hidden talent? I'm a pretty good cook.
What is your favorite type of animal? Dogs. My family has a dog and she makes sure she is always a part of what we do. She always needs to be included and sometimes it's pretty funny to see how she reacts to certain situations, so she makes us laugh every now and then.
Why did the chicken cross the road? Whether the chicken crossed the road or the road moved beneath the chicken depends upon your frame of reference.
What is your favorite thing about New Orleans? Bourbon Street, it is quite an experience.
If you were going to be stranded on an island and could have 3 things with you, what 3 items would you take with you? An IPod, a towel and some sunscreen.
What's something no one knows about you? I don't like cats.
Vanilla or Chocolate? Chocolate.
What is the best road stadium/atmosphere that you have been in? LSU. The stadium was packed and the crowd was loud all game.
One word that describes you as a person.... Engaging.
