I chose Tulane because... I chose Tulane not only because of the prestigious baseball program I would be a part of, but also the opportunity to receive a degree from such a prestigious University.
The best part about playing baseball at Tulane is... the relationships that I have built with my teammates and coaches throughout the years.
My goals for this season are... To win the National Championship.
Do you have any pregame rituals/superstitions? I make a playlist on my iPod for every season, and before each game I listen to that playlist to get ready for the game.
What is your favorite thing to do outside of baseball? Play golf. It is relaxing and when you are on the course, nothing else matters.
What is your favorite food? Favorite Game Day Meal? My favorite food is chicken parmesan. As far as game days, I never eat within 3 hours of game time.
If you could play for any MLB team, who would it be? The Houston Astros, it would be awesome to pitch in front of a hometown crowd.
Who was your idol growing up? I used to always watch throwback games of Bob Gibson and I admired his fearlessness and his ability to go right after guys.
What was your greatest memory from last season? Beating Rice for the first time in 5 years.
If you were not playing baseball, what would you be doing? Playing basketball, I have a killer jump shot.
What music do you like to listen to before a game? Eminem. I know he is a controversial character, but there is no better music to get you in the "zone".
What is your favorite type of animal? Dogs. They don't care if you were the hero or the goat at the ballpark, they are always waiting for you, truly man's best friend.
What is your favorite thing about New Orleans? The resilience this city has shown and being able to be a part of rebuilding.
If you were going to be stranded on an island and could have 3 things with you, what 3 items would you take with you? I would only need one thing- a boat.
Vanilla or Chocolate? Chocolate.
What is the best road stadium/atmosphere that you have been in? Florida State, my freshman year, in the Regionals. It was an unreal atmosphere with the stadium and fan support.
One word that describes you as a person... Competitive.
