I chose Tulane because... it's a great balance of academics and athletics, and I wanted to come down South for school.
The best part about playing baseball at Tulane is... my teammates.
My goals for this season are... to go to Omaha.
Do you have any pregame rituals/superstitions? I ask Robby (Broach) if I can stand next to him during the national anthem, and then when he gets flustered and says, "You don't have to ask me every game," I turn and high five Karl.
What is your favorite thing to do outside of baseball? To go fishing.
What is your favorite food? Favorite Game Day Meal? The Crawfish Alfredo Pasta that we get before the games. It's unreal.
If you could play for any MLB team, who would it be? The Boston Red Sox. I grew up a die-hard Red Sox fan and it'd be awesome to play at Fenway Park.
Who was your idol growing up? Wile E. Coyote, because time and time again his plans to catch the Roadrunner failed but no matter what, he kept trying. I admire his perseverance.
What was your greatest memory from last season? Our Walk-off win against Rice on Friday night.
If you were not playing baseball, what would you be doing? Playing Division III hockey somewhere, attempting to live the dream.
What music do you like to listen to before a game? Underground rap.
What is your hidden talent? I can predict the future, it's a gift and a curse.
What is your favorite type of animal? A Wallaby, I plan to own one in the near future.
Why did the chicken cross the road? I don't know I wasn't there.
What is your favorite thing about New Orleans? The autumn.
If you were going to be stranded on an island and could have 3 things with you, what 3 items would you take with you? Two Friends and a bonfire. I don't really need much else.
What's something no one knows about you? My great-grandfather invented the playoff beard.
Vanilla or Chocolate? Twist.
What is the best road stadium/atmosphere that you have been in? East Carolina. The stadium was nice and the crowd was always had something to say.
One word that describes you as a person... Dirtdog.
