11/01/2008 Langley, Mainguy lead Tulane Women's and Men's Cross Country Teams at C-USA Championship Keriann Langley led the Tulane Green Wave women's cross country team Saturday at the Conference USA Championship, while Mike Mainguy paced the Tulane men. Langley came in 31st overall as the Green Wave finished ninth. Mainguy was 44th in the men's race as Tulane placed eighth. Whitrock Leads Tulane at Chile Pepper Cross Country Festival Redshirt freshman Julia Whitrock paced the Green Wave women's cross country team Saturday at the Chile Pepper Cross Country Festival. Senior Keriann Langley (pictured) was the second Wave runner across the line in her season debut, as Tulane placed 21st of 39 schools at the prestigious event. Cross Country Turns In Top Times At Auburn Every runner for the Tulane men's and women's cross country teams turned in season-best times Saturday at the Auburn Tiger Invitational, with the Tulane women placing 12th and the men coming in 23rd. Senior Aubrey Phillips paced the Green Wave in the 5K women's race with a time of 17:54, while Kyle Estevez turned in a time of 26:54. Cross Country Races into Saturday's Auburn Tiger Invitational The Tulane men's and women's cross country teams will take on a large field Saturday at the Auburn Tiger Invitational in Auburn, Ala. So large, the field will be split into two races. 36 women's teams and 32 men's teams will take part in Saturday's event at Indian Pines Golf Course. Women's Cross Country Place Second at LSU Tiger Festival, Men Eighth The Tulane women's cross country team came in second at the LSU Tiger Festival, led by top 10 finishes from Aubrey Phillips, Julia Whitrock and Rebecca Coady.
