Four Sports Recognized by NCAA's Academic Performance Program

Van Norman Resigns as Track & Field/Cross Country Head Coach
Heather Van Norman has announced her resignation as the head men's and women's track & field/cross country coach at Tulane University, according to Director of Athletics Rick Dickson. Van Norman is expected to accept the women's assistant sprints and hurdles coach at the University of Tennessee.

Rodgers Wins 55m as Tulane Indoor Track & Field Opens Season At Arkansas State Kickoff Classic
The Tulane Green Wave indoor track & field season opened Saturday at the Arkansas State Kickoff Classic. Kasey Rodgers won the 55-meter dash as Tulane posted 16 top 10 finishers including two by Arielle Minor (pictured). There was no team scoring in the event.

The Tulane women's cross country finished 12th in the 2008 NCAA South Central Regional Saturday, at Cottonwood Creek Golf Course in Waco, Texas. Senior Aubrey Phillips paced the Wave with a 46nd place finish, pacing the 6K course in 22:36.

The Tulane women's cross country program is set to contend in the 2008 NCAA South Central Regional Saturday, at Cottonwood Creek Golf Course in Waco, Texas. The women will compete in a 6,000-meter race at 10 a.m.

Langley, Mainguy lead Tulane Women's and Men's Cross Country Teams at C-USA Championship
Keriann Langley led the Tulane Green Wave women's cross country team Saturday at the Conference USA Championship, while Mike Mainguy paced the Tulane men. Langley came in 31st overall as the Green Wave finished ninth. Mainguy was 44th in the men's race as Tulane placed eighth.
