1999 Cross Country: Won Conference USA individual championship, one of four races she won this fall. . . Finished second at the NCAA South Central District Regional, qualifying her for the NCAA Championships in Bloomington, IN for the second straight year . . . Set school records at three miles (16:47.62) and 5,000 meters (16:43.2). She became the first woman in school history to break the 17-minute barrier for three miles.

1999 Outdoor: Tulane's most decorated track and field athlete . . . An All-American by virtue of her third-place finish in the 1,500 meters at the NCAA Championships in a time of 4:22.64 . . . Captured the 1,500-3,000-meter double at the C-USA Outdoor Championships, winning the events with times of 4:25.58 and 9:44.15 respectively . . . Earned all-conference accolades for her efforts . . . Posted season bests of 2:07.74 in the 800, 4:18.38 in the 1,500 and 9:23.16 in the 3,000 . . . Was a key figure in the relays, as she was a part of 4x800 and 4x1,500, and Distance Medley relays that set school records . . . Helped Tulane capture its first Championship of Americas award at the Penn Relays in the DMR with a time of 10:55.71 . . . Named to all-Louisiana track team.

1999 Indoor: Earned double All-America honors after finishing third at the NCAA Championships in the mile run (4:39.54) and third in the Distance Medley Relay (11:14.67) . . . Her efforts propelled Tulane to its best finish ever at the NCAAs (16th) . . . Won three C-USA titles at the Indoor Championships, the mile (4:52.61), 3,000 (9:34.38) and Distance Medley Relay (11:47.13) . . . Set school records in the 800 (2:08.42), mile (4:39.54) and DMR (11:14.67).

1998 Cross Country: Won Conference USA individual championship, one of three races she won this fall and was named C-USA Cross Country Athlete of the Year . . . Finished seventh at the NCAA South Central Regional, making her the first Green Wave woman to qualify for the NCAA Championships . . . Finished 58th at the NCAA Championships in Lawrence, Kan. with a time of 17:55.99 . . . Set school records at three miles (18:24) and 5,000 meters (16:49.97). She became the first woman in school history to break the 17-minute barrier for 5,000 meters . . .Named Runner of the Year and Newcomer of the Year by the Louisiana Sports Writers.

1998 Outdoor: Earned All-America honors with a fourth-place finish in the outdoor 1,500-meter run . . . Lyngstad was also named the Conference USA Outdoor Women's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Year after garnering three individual conference titles (1,500/3,000/5,000) . . . She posted Tulane bests in the 800, 1500, 3000 and 5000 meters . . . Lyngstad was also named the Louisiana Track & Field Newcomer of the Year.

1998 Indoor: Earned All-America honors in the indoor campaign, finishing sixth in the indoor mile (4:43.53) . . . Also a member of the Distance Medley Relay team that finished ninth at the NCAA Indoor Championships . . . Earned all-Conference USA honors by winning the mile (4:52.06) the Distance Medley Relay.
