Won two straight Class 5A cross country state titles. Won the 5A state championship at 1600 and 3200 meters outdoors as a junior, setting the composite (all classes) state record at 3200 meters. Was also the 1600-meter and indoor state champ as a senior. Earned all-state honors twice in cross country and eight times in track and field. She didn't compete in cross country as a freshman or sophomore and was injured for her senior season of outdoor track. Also a member of the Times Picayune all-academic team. Competed in swimming for one year, finishing seventh in the state in the 500 freestyle as a sophomore.

PERSONAL
Full name is Kerriann Patricia Langley. Born August 30, 1985 in Manassas, Va. The daughter of John and Patricia Langley. The oldest of five children. Her mother ran cross country at Georgetown and her grandfather David was a pitcher in the Chicago Cubs organization. Named to the C-USA Academic Honor Roll for 2004-05.
