HIGH SCHOOL
Four-year letterman in cross country and two-year letterman in track and field for coach Bobby Thomas... Was a cross country state runner-up four out of five years in which she participated... Louisiana 4A cross country state champion in 2003... Also a district champion in 2003... Broke the school record for the two-mile run with a time of 12:14... All-district and all-state selection all four years... In track and field was all-district on 2002 and placed 6th in the 3,200-meter run at the state meet... Off the track was a member of the National Honor Society and the Excalibur Science Honor Society... Was on the alpha honor roll (4.0 GPA) all four years and graduated with High Honors.
