Brooklyn natives Sheena Garwood (96) and Carlyne Pradieu (108) pace each other early in the race.

 Freshman Bessie Hatch and senior Eva Lustigova run along the course in Levee Oaks Park on the Lakefront.

 Luke Hooper, a grad student in biomedical and mechanical engineering, runs for the Green Wave.
Freshman Bessie Hatch from Ojai, Calif., finished second overall in her first collegiate race.

 Senior Eva Lustigova covered the two-mile course in 11:38.31 to win the Tulane Invitational for the second time in her career.

 Tulane graduate and Kenyan native Solomon Kandie ran unattached in the Tulane Invitational and won the race for the third straight year.
